The 2022 season fixtures are out

A professional football club based in Watford, Hertfordshire, England, that plays in the Premier League, the highest level in the English football league system. Founded in 1881 as Watford Rovers, the club entered the FA Cup for the first time in 1886, and in 1922 they moved into their larger stadium at Vicarage Road.

Watford Mayor announces FA Cup Final 'Big Screen' in Cassiobury Park.


The mayor was joined by Luther Blisset in Cassiobury Park to announce that watford will be hosting a free Big Screen for WatfordFC fans who can't make it Wembley to watch.


The screening will start at 4pm, for the build up to the FA Cup Final this Saturday 18 May.


Watford fans voted overwhelmingly in favour of having a screen in the town, with over 90% out of the over 3000 people supporting one for the final.


Ex-Watford FC player Luther Blissett said, ‘I remember when we made the final in 1984 under Graham Taylor how amazing it felt to see the whole town come together to support us. I really hope everyone is able to help is able to support the boys, paint Watford yellow and enjoy this great time for the club. Come on you ‘orns!’


Watford FC last celebrated their promotion to the premiership in the park back in May 2015.

To coincide with WatfordFC's FA Cup Semi-Final success, a foyer exhibition will go on display at Watford Museum, combining unique treasures – like the silver trophy from the Play Off Final, the rosette from the club coach to Wembley in 1984 and Graham Taylor’s own medals.

Fans have been showing respect for the late Graham Taylor who was the chairman for Watford FC. They laid flowers, scarves and club shirts.

Watford FC autographed fans items plus free signed posters at the 2016 Christmas Lights on event


Watford FC players 'Troy Deeney' and three more held a signing session in the centre from 5.30pm and fans brought along items they’d like them to autograph.

The signing session took place on the lower mall.

The Open Top Bus started to be greeted by fans at the starting point at the A41 North Watford Dome Roundabout.


BBC Three Counties said about 20,000 people had joined the celebrations in Cassiobury park to welcome the Team.
